Ireland’s Seán Baldwin was aiming to hit the target for the Irish in the UAE this morning, when he competed in his first event at the IPC Shooting World Cup.

Under extremely testing conditions, Baldwin finished 12th in the 50m three positions, and though it may have been a tough start for the Newbridge man, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance, including putting down a solid foundation to start the year on.
