Something pretty special is happening in Dublin on Saturday night, July 2nd, and Paralympics Ireland is inviting you to come along and be a part of it.
The much-anticipated ‘More Than Sport’ fundraising ball will take place at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin 4 on Saturday, July 2nd and looks set to be an evening full of entertainment and fun, with famous sporting stars, presenters and well-known Irish faces all coming along to partake in what is truly a celebration of Irish Paralympic sport.
The ball will feature a number of Irish Paralympic athletes alongside stars from a host of other sports including Gordon D’Arcy, Fiona Coghlan, Fergus Slattery, Jack O’Shea, Ollie Campbell and Liam Sheedy.
RTÉ star Joanne Cantwell will act as MC on the night with post-dinner entertainment from the acclaimed ‘Boogie Nights’. An auction and raffle will also feature some amazing prizes, such as an exclusive training session with Irish rugby stars Jamie Heaslip, Jordi Murphy and Gary Ringrose as well as a Ryder Cup flag signed by Rory McIlroy, Padraig Harrington, Graham McDowell and Paul McGinley.

It is hoped that we will achieve our aim of raising €50,000 on the evening, with all proceeds going towards the final preparations of Team Ireland competing at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games this September.
