Patrick Monahan was in action this morning at the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon. Patrick will be pleased with his performance having missed a block of training in the build up to the marathon as he finished in a time of 1:33:10
It could have been even better for Patrick who was send the wrong way whilst being in 5th place with 1km to go. Stewards made an error in directing Patrick as he was pushing into contention with the finish line in sight.
Despite the setback it was still a very positive day for Patrick who will look forward to the rest of the season in a very positive frame of mind.
