Patrick Monahan was the first racer home at the Great Scottish Run at the weekend as he produced a scintillating performance to win the 10k race in a time of 24:31, winning by nearly 4 minutes over Sam Kolek.
What is most impressive about Monahan’s performance was that he finished 2 minutes faster than he did in the same event in 2017. Monahan will now look forward to more big events in Chicago and Dublin along with his main event of the season, the Seoul marathon which will all take place in the next 5 weeks.
