Pundit Arena Announce Partnership with Allianz and Paralympics Ireland For 2018 World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships.

Pundit Arena announced today, Tuesday, it has secured a partnership with Allianz and Paralympics Ireland for the social amplification and broadcasting of the 2018 World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin from August 13th to 19th.

The partnership will see the innovative Irish sports media house create a poolside studio and digital content hub as part of a social amplification activation where they will deliver unprecedented coverage and access to Ireland’s athletes throughout the tournament. The tournament will also be broadcast live on Pundit Arena TV.

The 2018 World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships will be the biggest swimming event of its kind to ever be held in Ireland, and also the first ever international Para sporting event. A large crowd is expected in the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin from August 13th to 19th to support Team Ireland, where a total of eight Irish Paralympians will compete.

Commenting on this development, Sean McGrath, CEO, Allianz Ireland explained “Allianz is really excited to be partnering with Pundit Arena in the promotion of the World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships. Allianz have successfully collaborated over a number of years with Pundit Arena on the Allianz Hurling and Football Leagues and we look forward to partnering with them again on this significant first ever, international Para event in Ireland.”

The 2018 World Para Swimming Allianz European Championship take place at the National Aquatic Centre Dublin from August 13th to 19th.

Around 400 athletes from 37 countries are set to compete at the 2,500-seater National Aquatics Centre.
