Irish duo of Cathal Ryan and Shauna Bocquet have been making a name for themselves at the World Para Athletics World Junior Championships in Switzerland this week.
Shauna started her championships with a great Personal Best in the 400m as she pushed a 64:33. Shauna then went on to have a brilliant performance in the 1500m which she won in a thrilling finish right at the finish line.
It has been a similarly brilliant performance from Cathal Ryan who got his championships underway by setting a new 200m national record of 24:29. There was even better to come for Cathal who switched to the Discus where he secured a brilliant silver medal for Ireland.
