Partners of Paralympics Ireland join Ronan Grimes (Cycling) and Patrick Monahan (Athletics) on Paralympics Ireland Partners Day.
To celebrate the 6 Months to Go to Tokyo 2020 Milestone Paralympics Ireland hosted a brilliant partners day with the sponsors and partners of Paralympics Ireland.
Partners including Allianz, Circle K, Citi, FloGas and Toyota joined Crowley Millar, Goosebump and UnderArmor to partake in a Team Ireland information Day at the Sport Ireland Conference Centre. The event afforded sponsors and partners alike the opportunity to network and learn from their peers as well as gain access to important information regarding the upcoming Paralympic Games.
After a welcome from Paralympics Ireland CEO, Miriam Malone, the Chef De Mission for Team Ireland, Denis Toomey, did an in depth update about the progress of Tokyo 2020. This was followed by a communications update from Derek Kinnevey before the partners themselves took centre stage as each sponsor presented their plans and activations for the year ahead.
Paralympics Ireland Head of Commercial, Trevor O’Rourke said ‘This was a brilliant day and it was a first for Irish Paralympic sport to bring everyone together in this forum. We had the opportunity to put important information in front of these vital stakeholders and they had the chance to present their plans and to show the work that they have done to bring their sponsorships to life.’
