Colin Judge has reached new heights in his Table Tennis Class 3 world ranking, hitting eighth place for the first time in his career.

This follows a brilliant bronze medal finish for him at the ITTF World Para Future Series in Ostrava, Czech Republic, in 2025 a key stop on the international para table tennis circuit.

Judge sailed through the group stages of the competition, winning all three games before a hard fought victory in the quarter-finals. Following this, he lost out 3-0 to Poland’s Maciej Nalepka in the last four, earning him the bronze medal and moving him one step up in the world ranking, a just reward for his commitment and determination following his reclassification in 2018.

Judge was joined by Aspire athlete Patrick Vaughan and Seán Geoghegan at the competition. Seán is one of five Para Table Tennis athletes who will travel to Turkey to represent Ireland at the European Para Youth Games. The EPYG is a major multi-sport event for young para-athletes from across Europe, providing a valuable platform for international competition, personal development, and sporting excellence
