Britney Arendse claimed a brilliant Gold and Bronze double at the World Para Power lifting Fazaa Championships last night.
Young Cavan star, Britney Arendse competed in the 67kg category and lifted 83kg followed by 85kg before finishing with a third personal best lift in a row of 87kg securing the gold medal in the Junior grade and bronze in the senior division.
Britney has shown plenty of form in recent years having been champion in the 73kg of the same competition in 2017. Britney will now look forward to continuing her journey as she hopes to qualify for Tokyo 2020.
