Bronze for Ellen Keane on final day of Paralympic Swimming World Championships

Ellen Keane ensured the Irish team finished the Paralympic Swimming World Championships on a real high tonight setting a new lifetime best to win bronze in the 200m Individual Medley final (SM9). Nicole Turner and James Scully both set new lifetime bests finishing seventh and eighth in their respective finals.
Three Irish swimmers into finals at Paralympic Swimming World Championships

On the closing day of competition at the Paralympic Swimming World Championships in Glasgow three of Ireland’s four swimmers in action have qualified for finals in their respective events. Nicole Turner, Ellen Keane and James Scully will all be racing tonight, with Keane and Turner setting new lifetime bests in their heats.
