Orla Comerford and Lana Sutton will compete at the Oslo Diamond League this evening, with both Irish sprinters named in the Women’s Para 100m at the Bislett Games.
The race is scheduled for approximately 6.25pm Irish time and will see Comerford and Sutton line up against a strong international field at the Bislett Stadium, one of the most recognisable venues on the athletics calendar. The race will be shown live on Virgin Media Play.
Comerford returns to Oslo having produced one of the standout performances of her 2025 season at the same meeting, winning the Women’s Para 100m in a personal best of 11.87. The Raheny Shamrock athlete went on to win gold in both the T13 100m and T13 200m at the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi, following her bronze medal in the T13 100m at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Sutton, who competes in the T38 classification, will race from lane two. The UCD AC sprinter is one of the emerging athletes in Ireland’s Para athletics squad and made her first major World Para Athletics Championships appearance in New Delhi last year. She is also part of Paralympics Ireland’s Deloitte Aspire Programme, which supports developing Para athletes as they build towards senior international competition and future Games cycles.
