This is your chance to have your say and impact the future of Para sport in Ireland! If you are an athlete involved in Para sport over the age of 18 we want to hear from you.

Paralympics Ireland and the University of Limerick are working together to study the experiences of athletes and coaches in Ireland’s Para pathways, aiming to identify ways to create positive experiences, boost participation, and enhance the sporting environment.

By focusing on the perspectives of those involved, the research hopes to identify factors that contribute to both positive and negative experiences, including barriers, challenges, and opportunities within the pathway.

The goal is to use these insights to develop strategies that create a more inclusive, supportive, and effective environment for Para athletes and coaches.

If you would like to complete the survey you can do so here.

Alternatively, if you would rather complete the survey over the phone with a member of the research team, you can phone +353 (0) 86 8611994 between 10am and 4pm on Monday to Friday. To ensure anonymity of the survey, you may phone with blocked/hidden number.

Any questions or queries can be sent to alan.dineen@ul.ie
