With just over two years to go until the Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, LA28 has unveiled the official Look of the Games, a bold and vibrant visual identity that will shape how the Paralympic Games are presented across venues, the host city and digital platforms.
Titled LA in Full Bloom, the identity is inspired by the California Superbloom, a rare natural phenomenon in which wildflowers burst into colour across the landscape. The concept reflects the Paralympic Games themselves, where everything comes together on the world stage.
At the heart of the design is a dynamic system of colours and patterns influenced by the Bird of Paradise, the official flower of Los Angeles. Thirteen individual blooms represent the diversity of the city’s people, cultures and landscapes, creating a visual identity that is energetic, welcoming and reflective of the Games.
The Look of the Games has been designed to work across every level of the Paralympic experience. It will appear across competition venues, athlete environments, citywide installations and digital platforms, while maintaining clarity in fields of play. A structured grid system ensures consistency across all applications, from large-scale venue branding to accreditation and wayfinding.
Typography and design elements draw inspiration from the streets of Los Angeles, grounding the Games in an authentic local identity. The colour palette has also been developed to respond to Los Angeles’ distinctive natural light, from daytime settings through to evening competition sessions.
Los Angeles 2028 will mark the first time the city has hosted the Paralympic Games, welcoming thousands of athletes from around the world.
The Look of the Games will begin to roll out in the lead-up to LA28 and will become a defining part of how the Paralympic Games are presented in Los Angeles and around the world.
