The 2026 Men’s Mixed Classification Para 100m Race Series reaches its final stages this week, with Race 3 taking place at Cork City Sports on Wednesday, 8 July, before the series concludes at Morton Games on Friday, 10 July.
The Morton Games race will act as the Series Final, where the overall 2026 race series champion will be confirmed at Morton Stadium, Santry.
Now in its third year, the series brings together male Para sprinters from a range of classifications, with athletes earning points across four designated race meetings. Performances are scored using the RAZA points system, allowing athletes from different classifications to compete within the same race series.
Following the opening two rounds, Charlie Byrne leads the standings ahead of Cathal Ryan, with Damien Moyles, Aryell Sheedy and Frank Brennan also among the top five.
The line-up for Cork City Sports and Morton Games is expected to remain the same as Race 2, which included Charlie Byrne, Alex Lee, Fionán Ruane, Cathal Ryan, Aryell Sheedy, Damien Moyles, Aaron Floody Boyle and guest athlete Frank Brennan.
The 100m Para Men Ambulant is scheduled for 6:30pm at Cork City Sports on Wednesday, with the National men Ambulant 100 scheduled for 6:45pm at Morton Games on Friday.
