The Paralympics Ireland athletics squad is currently immersed in a warm weather training camp in Portugal, marking a significant phase in their preparations for the upcoming competitive season. Since their arrival on Monday, April 14th, the athletes have been capitalizing on the excellent facilities and favourable climate to enhance their performance and team cohesion.

This intensive camp is a pivotal step as the team sets its sights on major international competitions, including the Paris Grand Prix and the WPA World Championships in India.

James Nolan, Head of Paralympic Athletics, shared his insights on the camp’s progress: “The camp has been progressing exceptionally well.
