Paralympics Ireland’s Aspire Programme supported by Deloitte is set to host its highly anticipated first Performance Pathway Camp on Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th, bringing together a dynamic group of emerging athletes for a weekend of education, connection, and personal development.
The event will take place at the Sport Ireland Institute on the Sport Ireland Campus and the Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown.
This immersive two-day camp forms a cornerstone of Paralympics Ireland’s Aspire Programme, which is designed to support athletes in building not just their sporting performance, but also their personal growth and long-term wellbeing. The programme is proudly supported by Deloitte as part of their partnership with Paralympics Ireland.
Participants will engage in a variety of sessions, including a powerful experience with The True Athlete Project, where athletes are encouraged to bring a meaningful piece of sporting memorabilia (excluding medals or trophies) to deepen the reflective aspect of the programme.
These elements have been thoughtfully designed to enrich the weekend’s sessions and to help athletes articulate their values, assess their development, and begin planning how they’ll best utilise the programme’s support.
The athletes on the programme are:
- Lana Sutton – Para Athletics
- Cathal Ryan – Para Athletics
