Rebel Wheelers will attempt to claim a record five in a row on Friday 19th of January when they play South East Swifts in the Irish Wheelchair Association National Basketball Cup final.
The five time champions were handed a walkover by Killester at the semi-final stage of the competition. The South East Swifts faced off with Limerick Celtics in their semi-final, securing their spot in the final with a final score of 44-35.
Limerick Celtics are missing the sharp shooting of Tiarnán O’ Donnell who has moved to Cork to pursue his Paralympic dream. He is currently training with the para-rowing squad at the National Rowing Centre in Cork.
