Gary O’Reilly, from Laois, has been a member of Team Ireland since 2018 when he made his debut appearance at the European Hand Cycling championships in Rosenau.

Gary suffered serious injury in an accident in 2014. He played wheelchair basketball until he discovered Hand Cycling and he excelled in his chosen sport.

Since his debut Gary has gone on to represent Ireland at the UCI Para Cycling Road World Championships and the World Para Cycling Track World Championships.
