Martin Gordon graduated from the Cycling Ireland Para-Cycling development team to compete at his first Para-Cycling Track World Championships in 2017. The Sligo man teamed up with his guide, Eamonn Byrne from Sundrive Cycling to begin a strong partnership.

The promising duo have tasted success at the 2018 UCI Track World Cup event in London when they claimed the silver medal in the 200m sprint event whilst setting a new National record in the process.

Martin and Eamon are sprint specialists and have made great progress in recent times in their pursuit of a Paralympic Medal. When he is not cycling Martin works as a Barrister with the Gardaí and Eamonn is a member of An Garda Síochana.
