Richael Timothy is an accomplished sportsperson having represented her native county, Roscommon, in gaelic football and she also represented her country as an accomplished soccer player.

Timothy has made stunning progress since joining the Para Cycling squad in 2018 representing her nation at World Championships in both track and Road.

Her best result to date has come in the 2020 Track World Championships when she secured the bronze medal in the 10km Scratch Race.
