Tokyo 2020 Rescheduled

The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games have been rescheduled to August 25th, 2021 and will conclude on September 5th, 2021. The games had been postponed from their scheduled date of August 24th of this year due to the global health crisis caused by Covid 19.

The decision to fx the games to the new dates was taken with the following 3 main considerations: 1. To protect the health of the athletes and everyone involved and to support the containment of the COVID-19 virus. 2. To safeguard the interests of the athletes and of Olympic and Paralympic sport. 3. The global international sports calendar.
