Boccia Ireland has three athletes competing at the Disability Sport Northern Ireland UK Challenger Event this weekend at the Antrim Forum Leisure Centre.
Padraic Moran, the current BC1 champion will be hoping to retain his title facing off against four other competitors in his pool. His competition will be a round robin format with all players play each other once and medals awarded based on final pool positions. Niamh Dunphy (BC1) will also be in this pool in her first competition since 2015.
Sturt Wiley (BC2), this is his second international appearance. He competed in Swansea last year as part of the Boccia Ireland team but this will be his first appearance in an individual event.
The team will be assisted by team manager Lisa Callaghan.
