Patrick Monahan produced a superb display at the Lisbon half marathon to finish in second place against a top class field. Monahan, battled against the elements in far from ideal conditions to hold off some very strong challenges and come in behind only David Weir who is a 6 time Paralympic gold medallist.
Patrick will now turn his attention to the London half marathon where he will hope to repeat and even improve on this performance.
