Ireland’s young Powerlifting star, Britney Arendse has continued to make her mark in Power Lifting in 2019 as she has broken her own Junior World Record yesterday.

Britney has been improving continually throughout 2019 and she maintained that trajectory at the Hungarian World Cup over the weekend. Ardense broke her own 73kg Junior World Record with an incredible lift of 100kg breaking her own previous record of 98kg.

This lift secured Britney a bronze medal in the competition, her third senior bronze medal and she also secured the gold medal in the Junior grade.

This remarkable result shoots Britney up the rankings from 11th to 8th in the World.
