Allianz has announced an exclusive sponsorship deal with RTÉ, becoming the official broadcast sponsor for the coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic and Olympic Games. This exciting partnership, brokered by Starcom, will bring Irish viewers closer to the action and excitement of the Games, showcasing the inspiring journeys of athletes as they strive for glory on the world stage. Allianz will also be the first brand ever to sponsor RTÉ’s coverage of both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As part of the agreement, Allianz will sponsor RTÉ’s comprehensive multi-platform coverage of the games, including live RTÉ TV, live RTÉ Player, and catch up on the RTÉ Player. RTÉ will broadcast 300 plus hours of Paralympic and Olympic coverage across on RTÉ2, RTÉ Player and RTÉ News Channel this summer.
Alongside live action, the coverage will consist of a combination between expert studio analysis as well as insightful commentary directly from Paris as the drama unfolds. The sponsorship will also encompass a range of engaging content designed to celebrate the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, while highlighting Allianz’s commitment to supporting athletes and the transformative power of sport.
