Paralympics Ireland is on the hunt for the next big talent in Para athletics through our exciting Virtual Talent Search. This is your chance to kickstart your Para athletics journey and showcase your potential to our expert coaching team!
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, athletes must have at least one of the following eligible impairments:
- Hypertonia
- Ataxia
- Athetosis
- Limb Deficiency
- Short Stature
- Impaired Muscle Power
- Leg Length Difference
- Impaired Passive Range of Movement
- Visual Impairment

After you apply, our team will review your application and choose athletes for the next stage. If shortlisted the next steps will be explained and feedback will be offered to all applicants.
If you are successful, you will be given support to help you find a coach and athletics club if needed, guide you through classification, invite you to competitions, and provide ongoing support to help you develop in Para athletics.
