Limerick’s Tiarnán O’Donnell took home the silverware again after another strong performance in the PR2 Men’s Single Sculls. Moving into second place straight off the start, O’Donnell held his ground to the line securing his podium position. His teammate Steven McGowan narrowly missed out on the podium, finishing just .5 of a second behind the sculler from Germany to take fourth place. In an incredible push for the line McGowan was the fastest boat through the final 500 meters but it was just short of getting his bowball ahead of Paul Umbach for the bronze medal.
