The Irish Para Swimming team are in action in Minneapolis, USA for the fourth event in the Citi Para Swimming Word Series.
The first event in the USA this season will run for three days from April 20th – 22nd. Para swimmers will be racing at the University of Minnesota in several multi-class races with the added incentive of booking places in the most important competition of the season, the Manchester 2023 World Championships from 31 July to 6 August 2023.
Ellen Keane and Nicole Turner are in action on day 1 in the 100m breaststroke. All three swimmers are in the pool on day 2; Keane and Turner in the 100m butterfly with Turner also in the 50m freestyle. Barry McClements will start his competition in the 100m butterfly and 400m freestyle events. On day 3 Turner will turn her attention to the 200m individual medley and McClements will swim in the 200m individual medley and the 100m backstroke.
